No.3 Dialknowe Holiday Cottage in Scotland’s highest village is right at the end of a row of cottages in the tiny village of Wanlockhead. This former lead mining settlement still pays a nod to the former glory of the mining days and retains some of the history in and around the local museum. Some of the scenery, when either walking or driving in and around the village, is some of the most dramatic and beautiful in the country. Quite surprising is that the location of the cottage is less than eight miles from Abington Services on the M74 Motorway.
Inside the cottage there is a comfortable and cosy space which provides the ideal home away from home. A living room with Smart TV is on the ground floor and there is a dining room with a spacious table located off the living room. Within the kitchen, also on the ground floor, there is all you would need to prepare meals after a day’s exploring and enjoying your surroundings. There are two bedrooms in the cottage. One on the ground floor which sleeps two in a double room, whilst the bedroom on the upper floor has a double bed as well as 2 singles. The bathroom with the over bath shower is downstairs. This cottage is ideally suited more towards families.

- CANCELLATION POLICY: A deposit of 50% of the booking total is required. This deposit will be refunded if cancelled more than 14 days before arrival. Full booking balance must be paid 14 days before arrival. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival then a charge equal to 75% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
